IRS Advisory Group to Meet

WASHINGTON - The Internal Revenue Service Information Reporting Program Advisory Committee (IRPAC) will hold its semi-annual meeting on November 15 and 16. The sessions will be held in Room 3313 at IRS Headquarters, 1111 Constitution Ave., N.W., starting at 9:30 a.m. each day and ending at noon on the 16th.

The agenda, which is subject to change, includes:

  • Circular E (Pub. 15) Changes;
  • Simplified Tax and Wage Reporting System;
  • Form 1099 MISC Changes;
  • Form 1099 Reporting for Foreign Source Income;
  • IRS Customer Service Update;
  • Penalty Notice Clarification;
  • Fringe Benefit Reporting;
  • SSA/IRS Reporter;
  • IRS/SSA Seminars;
  • IRP Quality Supplier Awards;
  • Credit Cards and 1099 Filings;
  • B-Notice Format and Processing Changes;
  • Moving Expense Reporting;

  • Non-Resident Alien Task Force Update;
