Taxbreak '94

"Taxbreak '94", IRS' timely, informative one-hour television program for individual income tax filers, will air on public television channels across the nation on Sunday, February 6, 1994 at 3:00 p.m. (ET).

The show will highlight what's new this year, taxable versus non-taxable income, deductions and their limits, the Earned Income Credit, alternative ways of filing, and how to get quicker refunds.

Popular television weatherman Willard Scott will host the program. Scott will ask tax questions, and two tax experts will answer them. Profiles will help to illustrate different tax situations.

With toll-free telephone service available by calling 1-800-829-1040, IRS tax assistors will stand by to answer questions phone in by the home audience, both during the program and for one hour afterward.
